Drawn from the Version 1.0.1 studio — fiction tools first, with a separate Word Processor mode for everyday documents.

  • Binder & manuscript

    Hierarchical chapters and scenes with autosave into portable .nightscribe project folders. Rich-text writing, bold/italic, live word count, find & replace, and spellcheck.

  • Page views that feel like books

    Write on Desk, or switch to Paperback, Hardcover, and Kindle page stages (F8). Tune fonts, manuscript vs novel spacing, indents, and paste cleaning from Word, Scrivener, or Sudowrite.

  • Focus Writing

    Full-page focus (F11) with Binder and Story Atlas in a companion window, dim slider, and remembered column widths — built for small screens and long sessions.

  • Story Atlas

    Your story bible beside the page: characters (with portraits), settings, world lore, timeline, storylines/beats, brainstorm cards, progress, chapter summaries, and a Publishing tab for covers and front matter.

  • Optional AI assistance

    Bring your own OpenAI-compatible API key. Grammar, Describe, Rewrite, Expand, Shorten, Tips, Brainstorm, character deepening, continuity helpers, and Word Processor Generate / letterhead tools. Writing never requires AI.

  • Publish & export

    Compile to PDF, HTML, Word (.docx), Kindle-ready EPUB, and WordPress (XML-RPC). Control covers, title page, chapter/scene titles, images, and spacing.

  • Word Processor mode

    A separate Misc mode for essays, letters, resumes, and notes — templates, images with wrap, columns, headers/footers, page numbers, print, and WYSIWYG A4 PDF.

  • Your library, your files

    Projects live under Documents/Nightscribe in Books, Short Stories, or Misc Projects. Folder-based storage you can back up or sync yourself. Portable Windows build available; this purchase delivers the installer.

    After payment, a license page shows your Software Key — save it, print it, or write it down. Download the Windows installer from that page too.

  • 3. Activate once

    Install, enter that same email + key on first launch, and write. Unlock is permanent for that Windows user profile — no expiry.

  • Lost your key?

    We keep a paid-customer list. Email WriterBryan@gmail.com with your PayPal receipt — the same email always regenerates the same key.
