A FAN FICTION BASED ON THE “ALIENS” SERIES (NON PROFIT)
WRITTEN BY BRYAN HOLLAND AND SCOTT GREENE
Alien: Convolution Synopsis
In Space, No One Can Hear You Scream…
Isabel Mason is a technologically brilliant intern for the Weyland-Yutani Corporation. The stars seemed to shine a little brighter as she experienced space travel for the first time in order to work on Synthetics (Androids) for the research center. Upon realizing that she’d be working for a horrible boss, and a company that doesn’t really care for her, her requests to return home to Earth fell upon deaf ears as she was continually reminded of her year-long contract with the company. In her effort to escape the rigors of more-or-less ‘slavery’ in the era of Space Travel, Isabel broke a few rules within a company that often breaks rules as a whole in order to stay sane. While hiding her own personal secrets from “The Company” she learns of the secrets she herself is a part of, and she doesn’t like what’s coming. The situation gets out of hand as an unspeakable terror is unleashed upon the isolated facility in which she works and she’ll be lucky to live through it.
“Goddamn it, that’s not all…” – Ellen Ripley
Forward by Bryan Holland:
That’s pretty much how I feel. The last few Aliens movies just weren’t that scary. They were fun! But Fun wasn’t what “Alien” was supposed to be. If Hollywood isn’t willing to make things scary again, then, I want to have my shot at it. Sure, I’m not going to get paid and Dark Horse/FOX seems to have their “Core Writers” (I attempted to publish an Aliens Novel with them in 2003 but FOX told me as much). I’m such a diehard fan of the Alien Franchise and even though I could watch the movies over and over, I wanted to continue, in some way, living in the “Alien” universe between the movies. Since one of my main hobbies is writing, I decided I just couldn’t help myself and it was time to simply create an ongoing, unofficial, unsanctioned fan-fiction. I’m not going to get paid for this and this is just for the pure love of the series!
